I have an M58 ballast and wanted to know what types of bulbs I can purchase. I did not see type of identifier when I go to different websites so I was hoping to get some direction here. I was initially told to get Phoenix bulbs but now I understand they cannot be fired from my ballast. Attached are 2 pictures of the ballast and 2 of the bulb. I cannot ID the bulb but was hoping some here could help.

I am looking for a good 14K bulb and I am using 4 60" ATI Blue Plus T5 bulbs as supplements.

Anyone have any experience with the Ushio 14k bulbs that will work on an m58 ballast?

The bulb you have is a Phoenix and M58 ballasts are for SE bulbs. I am not sure if there are any DE bulbs that will work with the M58.

Not sure your info is correct on only SE bulbs. I have seen quite a few different bulbs now that are DE for M58 ballast. What was the identifier on the bulb I have that you were able to state it is a Phoenix? This bulb came from fixture from the guy I bought it from (wish I could remember the guys name). :)

The PEC is Phoenix Electric Corp IIRC, my Phoenix DE is the same as yours. As I said, I am not sure if there are any DE bulbs for M58, that doesn't mean there are none. M58 lacks the ignitor required for a proper start.
