quick question i thought i read that super glue gel is reef safe does my memorey serve me correct? i just got some live rock and i found 1 :uzi:aptasia in a little hole so im going to glue him in there...hopfully that works anyways thanks

yeah many people use it to mount coral frags to their plugs then onto rocks in their aquarium.

not sure if the super glue will get rid of the aiptasia or not. I've had a lot of luck with zaptasia and it's pretty easy to use. I've also seen kalkwasser work as well.

i just want to use it to glue him in the hole he is in...and hoping there is no exit lol

super glue is fine i use the dollar store tubes

pickling lime from walmart, a type of kalk, and dirt cheap, made into a paste with water, works very very well believe it or not

I wouldn't even put the rock in ur tank if the glue doesn't work then it could lead to major headaches down the road

I've used Loctite super glue gel. I think it mentions its safe for dishwashers and watercoolers.

In short, they're almost all cyanoacrylate. HomeDepot/Lowes crazy glue, hobby shop remote control glue, medical, super expensive "reef glue"... it's pretty much all cyanoacrylate. Look through the ingredients and IMO avoid anything with colors or other products in it, and it's all relatively likely safe for our tanks.
