Looking at an ATO setup, have found the Tunze one that comes with everything. Small pump, photoelectric eye level controller, float switch(backup), controller etc etc. Its under $200 CAD, rather than piecing something together might be easier to just get a kit and be done with it. Does anyone use this system? If so, are you happy with it and would you reccomend it? Read a few posts and reviews and they seem to be positive, especially with the photo eye, very dependable and control level very acurately..

I use them in both my tanks. I will not use another top off setup.

I have it and love it. +1 on not using any other ATO now that I have this one.

I installed the Tunze ATO system about 2 months ago and compared to the ATO system I had been using, the Tunze is 10 times more dependable. With my other system, I was constantly finding the float stuck in place (Ca build up etc.) and had to add RO/DI water manually. I could not keep my SG consistent. IMO, the Tunze is worth the extra $$$.
