Hello everyone heres my 20G bubble tank, I absolutely love it because it magnifies everything. Bought it on craigslist back in November, had it cycling until February then had a pair of Seahorses for 3 weeks and one morning I saw my fire shrimp attacking them so I removed him, but a few hours later I saw the seahorses dead. Nothing has been in my tank since then besides some snails, but a few days ago I bought myself a pregnant cleaner shrimp, a pair of misbar clowns at MAX, and a diamond goby.

Plan on buying either some type of carpet or a large bubble tip anemone and thinking about getting a 6 line wrasse. Plan on buying more live rocks too.

Heres my tank, excuse me I'm still new too the hobby so I do not know exactly what I have.

20G Bubble tank purchased from craigslist.
15 pounds of live sand.
10 pounds of Fiji live rock.
1 red plastic tree
4 Turbo Snails
1 Nassarius Snail
4 Margarita Snails
4 random snails I caught in the ocean
Fluval 304 Filter
Power Compact light, bought at Home Depot
Blue T-5 light a friend gave me.
1 Diamond Goby
A handful of chaeto macroalgae.

Here's a basic look of the tank, it's still in the works but I'm fairly happy about it.

My suggestion: Take the pot out.
The rest of it looks pretty cool! I think you should be careful added all of the livestock at once because it could cause your tank to cycle. But I think your plan of 2 clowns, and an anemone is just perfect.

Im not sure if your lights will be strong enough for an anemone

could we have some more info on your lighting set up?

Just a quick update took the plastic tree and the pot out and added a 12 inch 2.7w blue LED. Also added first corals just a xenia frag and 4 mushrooms. Left my lid open and left my home for an hour only to see my goby jumped out of my tank so I'm left with the pair of misbars only. Added a GBTA, still waiting for the clowns to host it.

Here's a video of my tank. Nothing great it's definitely a work in progress.

Take out the pot, add some jellyfish and your good. LOL! I have seen a tank like this at the Denver Aquarium and they had tiny jellyfish in there. It looked really cool.

I use glass cleaner with no ammonia and wipe it down with a microfiber towel

I already took out the pot. I was thinking about making it a tank of moon jellyfish but I didn't want to buy a chiller and I heard it is difficult to feed them so I decided just to get clowns.

could you tell me where you got that tank and how much you paid for it? I've been dying to set up jelly tank but the cheapest i found one of those tanks is $2000 :(

Perhaps you could PM it to me so you dont get in trouble for posting it

A moon jelly tank would be way awesome. But when they did a talk on the jellies at the Denver Aquarium there as very sensitive to changes in temp, flow, lighting and have to be monitored closely. Cool tank though.

Very unique tank, I really like it! Glad you took out the plastic and pot, that's for freshwater lol. I'll be looking for updates, there is a ton of potential in this setup.

New update on my tank. Came up on a 70w clip on metal halide with a replacement bulb all for $40. No new livestock just a handful of red lettuce.

Quick little update bought an Ecoxotic Panorama LEDs, new torch, kenya tree, and a few new polyps. Going to rearrange the rocks soon.
