I'm not getting good tumble from my BRS dual reactor. I'd like to buy or trade for GFO reactors. Please let me know if you have ones that are not in use. I have some MJ1200 pumps, or I can feed it from my return pump. Any hoses or pumps so I can just fill, plug and go, the better. I'm going to make a real concerted effort to get my phosphate down once and for all.

Whats your current phosphate levels?

I just posted my lab tested water testing results a week or so ago.

Don't listen to the phosphate crazed who say that 0.05 is high. Many of the best reefers are comfortable with .15-.2. Mine were down at .4 and were back up to .7 at my last testing. I'm sure there is some phosphate in the rocks that you got from me which is the source of the little bit of phosphate that you're detecting. It should scrub out with some GFO pretty quickly, but at the levels you're detecting, it's nowhere near a problem for ANY corals you'd want to grow.

Note that I believe I found the source of my phosphate problem, I now just need to clean up what's left.

Cool, an MR1 would be perfect. PM me your email address and I'll send you a list of corals I have available.

Thanks,
Ron

Just found this DIY with a gatorade bottle. Sure you could modify this mod to work with a larger bottle for your need. A reactor is a reactor IMHO

I will build one and let yall know how it goes!

*edit*

Looks like you found a trade - leave this here for anyone else interested.

You need another filter in the top or the GFO can accidentally blow right out the holes in the lid.
