I have been using 10k xm bulbs for 9 month. I am getting ready to switch to Radium bulbs I just got. Do I need to leave lights off a few days then gradually leave the lights on 2-3 hours a day for a week or 2 to get corals use to new spectrum or different brightness??

I have a sps dominate tank with mainly acros

What ballast do you use?
Do you have a light meter to check the difference between new and old?
To go from a white to blue I would not think you would have any issues unless your lamps where dim?
Hopefully you have electronic ballast?
Or M80 HQI ballast which overdrive the lamps by 80 watts more. Regular Mag Ballast will either not start or burn the lamps out early because they are pulse start, not probe start.
I switched from 12K Reeflux to Radium on electronic ballast a few weeks ago and love it. The color is very comparable, definitely not any bluer. But a whole lot more lumens compared to new Reefflux.

I have 2 ice cap ballasts and double coralvue
have a par meter and reading 1/2 the par when switched to radiums

the brightness is much less but was told by someone that I should still do a gradual 2 hour a day run for a week
