Hello this is my 150gallon mixed reef tank. This tank is about to be replaced with a 225 gallon that I purchased from Mr.Ted. Enjoy. Also the powderblue is in qt being treated for internal and external parasites since this picture was taken. Enjoy.

Looks Incredible!
Looks like you will be needing the extra space in the 225. Do you have any special plans for the new tank? ie. large school of anthias, more tangs, angel, etc.
If you decide to sell any frags please let me know :D

thanks Julian! I plan on doing a mixed reef for the new tank. I have some ideas of what i want to do that I will share when I make my build thread. For fish, i plan to do many anthias, chromis, peaceful damsels, gobys, possibly a few garden eels. I will add a unicorn tang and possibly a crosshatch trigger. This new reef will look alot better than the current one I have and will look natural as a real reef would .

Awesome tank!!! :)
How do you keep your Tangs form nipping on your brain corals??

they just never have nipped at the coral. I feed them alot and it seems to be working. Dimensions are 48X24X30.

Great looking reef. Man that powder blue did look sick. Let us know if he pulls through. Was he easy to catch?

yea he was easy to catch because he would just come up to the nori, unfortunantly he did not pull through. When I first purchased him he had an internal parasite that i had treated in qt. A few months later he had seem to got it again. I resumed the same treatment but it was too late.

Great looking tank, and all those tangs in a 4' tank is a feat! I can't get more than 2 in my 4' 90g

What are your plans with the 150 once you get everything moved over. Are you keeping or selling it?

Dude, thats WAY TOO many tangs for a 36" aquarium. You need at least 500 gallon aquarium for those. Look it up on liveaquaria

Thanks for reminding me acronutty i have not checked liveaquaria in a long time. The last time I checked they said I could keep those tangs in a fish bowl, so i put 6 in a 150 that is 48" long. I wonder where my unicorn tang and french angel are... hmmm.... where are they? Im going to go pick up a huge sail fin tomorrow that is about 1ft, they say its "show sized" what ever that means... but like my gay friend always told me, the bigger the better
