I was looking at the gl*******s overflow kits and I dont know which one I should get. There's the 300 gph and the 700 gph any ideas? oh and it's a 40breeder

I'd go with the 700 regardless!! I am setting up that same tank as you... I believe its safer and better to be limited by your pump than by your drainage!! I think the 300gph is a bit small for a 40b... although it also depends on what corals you want to keep! if you like sps or even consider having them ... I would not hesitate in purchasing the 700!... with a decent pump you should get a nice tank turnover rate

You could go either way. As mentioned it depends on the pump you are using. I chose the 700 because my return pump pushes around 1000gph. The return is split and also feeds a fuge. I found a nice balance here with small adjustments using gate valves.
