Im trying to decide on what kind of lighting to put over my new 20G,
I was looking at LEDs but that was a little out of my budget. I found
this T5 hood and was wondering what your opinions are...

I plan on keeping LPS/Softies

-Mushrooms
-Colt/Kenya tree (trying to figure out the diff. between the two)
-Zoo's
-Hammer
-Candy Canes
-Frogspawn
-Etc

Thanks!

Might be because I'm at work but link won't open. You don't need too much light for those corals

For those corals just a pair of T5HO's should be fine. If you want more intensity and most importantly, bulb variety, 4x T5's would be plenty.

Maybe a 4x fixture with 2xactinics and 2x10k's? You could even swap out one of them with an alternative. Such as a purple or a different spectrum daylight.

T5's no problem and a good choice for a 20L. A good 4 bulb fixture with good bulbs and reflectors would allow you to keep many species of SPS as well due to the shallowness of a 20L. Good reflectors is the key and you will like the color of a 4 bulb much more than a 2. Your link doesn't work for me either.

Its actually a 20G Standard, sry i should have mentioned that.

The fixture im looking at says "Aqualight High Output T5 Dual Lamp Fixture"

Doesnt give much more detail on specs.. Are there diff kinds of T5 bulbs besides the color they come in?

Yes, there any many types of bulbs. A lot of people use bulbs by ATI. I am currently running that setup on my 20. 2 x blue plus, 1 x aqua blue, 1 x purple plus.
