Are the Cree Royal blue's worth the extra money over the Semi Royal blues? The Cree's are twice as much cost wise.

Cutter has Cree RB for 3.49 if you get 10 or more.

To fully appreciate the answer to this question, of course you would need to know how much light you are getting for your initial cost and your electricity. Thus, rather than supplying a chart of the described spectrum, you need to find a statistic for the quantity of light that the semi LED puts out (this will likely be listed in terms of mW) vs how much electricity you give it.

The $3.xx Cree XP-E royal blue puts out 500 mW of that lovely royal blue radiation when you feed it 1 watt of electricty. Yes you read that correctly, it is turning half of that electricity into pure photon goodness.
