Just wanted to say thank you. I ordered 3 corals and lost 2 during the guarentee. Filed my claim, sent pictures, and was credited no fuss no muss. This was prob my 4th or 5th order and the corals are always top notch. In this case, one Rtn'd the other just didn't make it.

Thank you for honoring the guarantee. Pessimistically...I expected a fight but was pleasantly surprised. Looking forward to my next order!

Just placed my first order a few days ago and the coral I received has about half of the tissue gone and they are not issuing me a refund. One of the reasons why is because this is my first order and they said that if you had ordered more or ordered from us before we could issue you a whole credit. Anyone else had this problem?

It shouldn't matter if this is your 100th or first order. If you followed the process I would think you would get your credit. Although maybe the problem is it's not dead?

My experience was mine Rtn'd. I also take pictures as I acclimate and show other corals in pictures that are doing well....to show an established tank. I haven't needed them but I'm a pessimist so I do it just in case of an arguement. Was this a WYSG?

I hope you can get this worked out to your satisfaction!

I agree with you, ejk17. I have ordered from Blue Zoo quite a few times and have always had problems with their corals. They usually dont honor thier guarantee even if its within the 7 day guarantee. I just recently receive a large order from them and half the pieces were in poor shape. I took pics and sent them in and all they had to say was that the coral was in bad shape but not dead. I usually always lose a couple of corals from these guys on every shipment. I have never lost a single coral from any other online vender or my LFS. They have good selection and prices but I wouldnt waste my money with these guys anymore. They just have very poor quality of coral.

I had horrible customer service and I had the exact same response given to me about the corals!

I would stay away if you want reliable customer service and a company that cares about you.

I'm sorry to say I had a similar experience with them last year. They just aren't the same company anymore. After dozens of orders over the years I got a bunch of blasto frags that were just dead. No tissue whatsoever. Emails I got said to send photos after another week as they are notorious poor shippers. After the volume of business I gave them and Reffermadness before them, I just read it and had to say to myself :they want me to send pictures of dead corals next week? When changes like this happen I just move on. It's a hobby, I don't waste my time chasing people down. I deal with dumb situations all day at work, I'm not dealing with it when it comes to this hobby. Moved on.

My order of fish and snails came in earlier today. All the livestock is alive and healthy. This is maybe the third time Ive ordered from them and every time Ive been pleased with the quality.
