i was looking at Eshopps RS-200 and they are only 25 gallon, rated for 200 gallon tanks. Do you guys use a small sump like that? seems to be fairly tiny for a big system like a 200

Yep, their sumps aren't very forgiving on equipment either. Make your own outta glass aquarium using glass baffles and ATv-100 series silicone available at granger. You'll be happy you did. Use a 40 breeder or bigger. Jus my two cents

33 gallon tank. Its long, not very deep.

I would look at all of the equipment you plan on using, fuge, etc. bigger sump will also increase the system volume.

If you're talking about a 6 ft tank with a 6x2 footprint, I'd use a standard 75g aquarium. I have a 40g breeder under my 120 and it works, but bigger is often better. :)

I'm setting up a 185gal (60"x30"x25") and have divided a 50gal breeder. We'll see how it works. I wouldn't mind having larger though.

I am using a 40 long for my under the cabinet sump to house the skimmer and return pumps and run a close loop to my fuge which is another sump at 58 gallon with plenum and macroalgae.

I have a 120, I use an Oceanic model III sump. It is far too large to fit in stand under tank. So I put it to left of tank. I found years ago I do not like sump inside stand. I prefer to keep my lighting ballasts and electric under tank in stand. This nearly eliminates salt creep to electricity and electronic equipment. I use a Euro-Reef CS-12-1 which is not small, so having my sump accessible is very convenient. Good luck & happy reefing!
