Would adding a shrimp or 2 be overkill?

I added the CUC to my seventyfive gallon 3 days ago, they're all doing fine and cleaning away, anyways i was just wondering, is it to soon to add a fire red shrimp or two to my tank?

the ammonia is 0 as well as nitrites, and the nitrates are around 10PPM

Do you guys think it would be ok?

how long ago did the cycle end? did you see an obvious cycle?

maybe try and lower nitrates a little with a water change

2 decorative shrimp adds little to no bio load compared to two small fish. So no, it is not overkill if your tank is relatively stable

Adding two shrimp would be great for your tank that size

You can definitely add the shrimps to your tank. I find mine very enjoyable to watch, especially during feeding.

Keep a close eye on your nitrates. You should have no problem with adding shrimp. I have in my 75 gallon 2 peppermint (I think. I haven't been seen them in several weeks.), 2 full grown cleaners, 3 sexy shrimp along with a whole host of inverts, fish and corals. You're just fine.
