I have a 75 Gallon Reef/Fish Tank

Yesterday i did the following:

1. Changed 12 gallons of water , salinity is 1.025

2. Changed Phosphate in Phosphate reactor

3. Washed filter sock in bleach then added AmQuel

4. Changed carbon

The water is blurry. The soft corals today never opened up. I noticed the temp was around 82, so I took care of that, and raised the fan a little to pump in oxygen.

Does anything stand out??

I finally have the tank exactly where want it after 8 months, please help, really appreciate it!!!

Do you mean cloudy? Did you use R/O water or tap water for your water change? What is the pH and alkalinity of the water?

You may have a possible bacterial bloom or calcium carbonate precipitation. Yes I am in orange county.

it will pass over soon. what salt did u use? is ur mixed saltwater cloudy too?
corals will survive. it would be good to know ph and alk. so its adviceable to get kits for them.

Yes, thank you. I actually have those kits, but I'm color blind, so they're wortheless to me, I just try and keep it simple and do water changes.
