I just took my post tax season field trip and went to pacific east aquaculture. Thanks for the heads up to the another poster (can't remember his name). My kids loved the clams and and my husband fell in love with the gangs there. The place was awesome and they actually gave decent advice even though they are in the business of selling fish you could tell they aren't going to sell a person a tang for a 30 gal tank.

Oppiset of what I saw yesterday. At a LFS not to be named (I just needed a thermometer for my qt), I saw a guy buy 3 fish that were already about 3 inches long. One of which was a juvinile angel of some type (think a Koran). I was talking to him and he said he had a 65G with canisters. Admitted to not following any of the "rules" people talk about. He asked what fish I was considering (he saw the thermometer), and told me to get a damsel because they were easy to catch and remove later. So he was basically implying to get a fish I really had no plans to keep long term (which I refuse todo). The person selling the fish to him, heard his tank size and made no comment that he was putting three fish in his tank that would all be too large for it in a few months, regardless of the massive new bioload three fish that size would mean to a 65g tank. I feel sorry for the fish.
