Well, the water finally cleared from the sand within way less than 24 hours which was a nice surprise. I figured I'd post a few pics of the tank when you can actually see inside it lol. This was just set up yesterday and I'll be adding the rest of my live rock this week.

I also have some questions:

Will 3 Koralia 3's and one Koralia 4 hooked up to a wavemaster pro be adequate circulation?

Also, how exactly do you go about acclimating fish/corals/inverts once the tank is ready? I've read about a QT tank and such, however I do not have one. How necessary is it to have a QT tank and how big should it be?

I've been researching this for about a month now before I even started and I still feel like I know nothing haha :P.

ANYWAY, here are the pics:

let me be the first to tell you, getting a QT is going to be MUCH cheaper in the long run than not getting one due to livestock loss. Its not even "if" its more like a "when" the s hits the fan, you'll be running around, freaking out what to do about ich. I've done it without a QT and never again. Trust 1000s of other people who came before you and use a QT. 30-40 gallon is plenty

I may do a QT then. I may get a 20g for free from a co-worker so I may just use that.

But what about the circulation? I don't want any dead spots and what not.

Looks really nice. Although, you look light on your live rock.
