Can anyone id this "creature"? It moves below the crushed coral substrate and extends tentacles to rip things apart. It destroyed my large feather duster and was headed for my Candy Cane so I pulled it out of the tank.

Yup, harmless detritivore. It uses the tentacles to bring back sand grains & detritus to it's mouth. I've never heard of one destroying something.
