Ok so I have confused my self stupid. I upgrade from a 55 to a 90 and am looking to buy a long tip anemone. My lighting as of now is 4 t5 ho bulbs. I'm pretty sure that wont cut it. I found a local guy with 2 400w mh lights. If I added them would that be to much or should I just retro fit another 2 5t bulbs in there, or should I go another direction? I'm on a budget so I have to keep that in mind. Thanks in advance....

your lighting should be fine. 400mh would be way overkill for anything in a 90g.

all you need is 4-6 T5s imo depending on the depth of the tank

My tank is 48 1/2 x 18 1/2 x 25 3/8. OK I feel better now that I dont need to dish money on lights. (atleast my wife wont kill me now) As far as putting him in the tank should I just set him on the bottom?

Pics? Never heard of a long tip. Maybe you're referring to a long tentacle anemone, Macrodactyla doreensis. They are sand dwellers and should be fine with the T-5 recommendations assuming the fixture has individual reflectors and good quality bulbs. Do some research to make sure you're getting good quality equipment.
