I have a 20H. Right now it just has some snails and 2 peppermint shrimp. The other night, we came home after the lights had been off for about an hour. We turned on the kitchen light; it lit the tank up a little. Everything in the tank seemed normal; the snails were cruising around and the shrimp where out. After a few minutes there were a bunch of little things floating in the water and the peppermint shrimp were moving all around the tank (more than normal). We turned on the tank light to see what the floating things were. There were about 50, of what looked like, tiny shrimp. They were probably only 1-2 mm long. They were almost entirely clear, but I could make out a fanned tail like a shrimp, a body, and small legs that were definitely moving. We think they were baby peppermint shrimp. The tank is fairly new, about 6weeks. The peppermint shrimp have been in there about 2 weeks.

They were all gone the next morning. They probably got sucked into the skimmer.

could be that they released eggs which is nice free and fresh fish/coral food. or it could be that you are going threw a pod population boom which is also nice, but will balance out eventually
