I'd guess they were about 10-15 miles away.

Beautiful Doug. You always seem to have mountians around you. And the 15 miles sure gives you lots of depth. I can't look more than half a mile before I hit a hill.

Thanks Jesse. I guess I'm just naturally drawn to the mountains. The Taos area feels a lot like the sierras, just without the granite.

you're making me yearn for Denali Doug! All that beautiful open space with mtns on the fringes! The stormy weather makes it look even more wild. How many stops on the graduated ND?

Damn, that is really good. I mean REALLY good from an evocative stand point.
