First one appears to be a Leather Coral, possibly Sacrophyton

Second one is Green Star Polyps

Third one are Zoanthids.

placement of those corals probably isn't as important as maintaining good basic reef aquarium water parameters. Monitor S.G., temp., alkalinity, calcium etc.

1st one is a toadstool leather (i have one too) 2nd is green star polyps and 3rd is zoas.

Sarco won't grow off the disc- you'll need to glue down the disc or remove coral from disc and attach to rockwork.

ok how do i do that .... my LFS has a frag kit with glue in it but where do i cut how much glue etc.

I would just glue the whole disc. It is easy and stress free for the critter. You can always epoxy around the edge of the disc to make it look like rock, and the coralline will cover the rest.

Glue down disc. The coral will eventually outgrow and cover the disc.

thank you for that i will glue the frag down. it says "Several predators are known, including nudibranchs and snails" and i have a lot of snails.....:hmm2: will it be fine?

If the conditions are optimal the star polyps and leather will grow a little faster than the zoas. The leather loves the light and as long as the zoas have some flow and light they will multiply nicely.

I would not worry about predators to your leather coral. The only nudi's and snails that eat them only eat them and would not be alive in your tank without other leathers to feed off of.

In the future quarentine and dips are a good idea on new coral additions to prevent the addition of predators. IMO leathers and gsp very rarly carry anything bad. zoa eating nudibranches are somewhat common on zoas.
