do Long tentacle anemones shed or molt?

Just was curious if long tentacle anemones shed or molt. My anemone seems happy most the time, except for the occasional shrink after it's #2, but lately i've noticed circled around it's base a sort of slim. It looks almost like a ring on saturn. I tried to take a pic, but couldn't get a good one, if he adjusts himself i can take a pic, but not right now.

Any thoughts?

I have had my LTA for a couple years and never seen that. Who knows, anemones do some weird stuff sometimes, some croak before you even know they are dead. IME you might kill one or two nems before you get one that will take to captive life.
