36 XPG white and 24 XRE blue with 40 degree optics. I have the blues on a separate timer so they come on first and turn off last.
The fixture is an old 48" Aqua Space light.
LEDs and drivers from rapidled and the new rock is pukani from bulkreefsupply.

Thanks! Here are a couple of shots. Hopefully I'll have some nice updates in a few months.
Just the blues:

No build thread for the light because I only spent a night on it. I removed the halides and then soldered the LEDs and screwed them to pre-tapped heat sinks. The heat sinks fit in the fixture easily and the drivers went in my old ballast boxes. Done!

What current are the LEDs running at and how high over the tank (48x18?). I have 48 (50/50 XR-E) over my 75 at 500 ma and I am thinking it is too much.
Thanks

I'm using two Mean Well LPC-35-700W for the 24 blues XR-E, and three Mean Well LPC-60-1050 for the 36 whites XP-G.
So I guess 700mA on the blues and 1050mA on the whites. The tank is 48"x24" and about 18" deep. The reflectors are 40 degree so I can place them high, about 2.5' above the floor of the aquarium, so I guess about 16" over the water? I did some trig calculations a while back to figure out the right height with those lenses.
I don't think it looks like too much light. I wanted as much PAR as three 150W halides but minus the electrical costs.

Do you have any SPS and how are they doing?

Nope can't help you there. I'm focused on the clowns and anemones.
Because it's new rock I'm pretty much starting over so I haven't planned much beyond those.
hows the mangroves doing with led light? I've been wanting to grow some mangroves with led's but wasn't sure it could be done.

You can def grow mangroves on LEDs if you supply the correct spectrum. Any white should work.

Beyond nice. How's the tank doing? How's your coverage front to back with those LEDs.
Superb job really!

Im worried about the heat being generated on that very small compartment for a 60 led configuration. Maybe I did not see the fans to ventilate the fixture? Can you touch the heatsink without issues?
Other than that, good job on your project. So you are a white person, Im a blue person... Do you like that ratio? 3:2??? Are they all CWs? or you mixed it with neutral and warm ones?
Congrats...

Wow very nice and clean looking tank! I bet the clowns are quite happy in there! What are you feeding them? Also what nems do you have? Are they hosting in them?
Any future plans?

I love your tank too. Very clean. I'm sure those mangrove are very happy not having a roasting MH in their faces.

Rysher, how big is your bulkhead? 1.5 inches? Durso?
I cant get my tank to work right as far as plumbing but from your pics my tank is same exact size! I slso didnt know if my water level was hifg enough in tank but yours seems to reinforce my idea that acrylic high flow tanks have a generally lower water level?
(helps keep water in tank? Designed for canopy?)
