Crushed coral.

I have around 60 lbs of crushed coral that i am going to add to my 55 gallon tank. it is already cycled and is being switched into a Peacock mantis shrimp tank. i have 60 lbs of sand already in it. Should i wash the Crushed coral like you do with sand before i add it to my tank or any suggestions?

I wash mine so it take alot of fine dust out
