I am thinking about upgrading my skimmer. I am currently running a SWC NW110 on a 50g total system. I do plan to upgrade to a 75 or 90g tank in the near future. What would be a good skimmer to upgrade to on my current tank that will also be good for around 100-120g total system volume with sps and med fish load?? I also need to keep the foot print as small as possible. I want to be in the $200-$300 max price range.

Hi, I am running a 90 gal tank that is 100 percent SPS and am using a SWC BMK-150 and that is working fine, it is the same specs and pump as the 160 cone, but $80 less. Another good one to look at is the Skimz line at aquacave.com, they look great.

Thanks the SWC BMK-150 looks like a perfect skimmer for my needs. I am open to other suggestions as well.

For the money you cannot beat a vertex in-100.
