I came home from work yesterday to see my male bangaii cardinal's mouth all deformed and the female still doing the twitch dance. So I'm pretty sure they spawned (my first time having fish spawn, yipee! :) ).

I have two questions. First, is fish spawning generally a good sign that your tank is doing well? Would they spawn if they are stressed?

Secondly, I won't be able to get this batch ready, but I would like to attempt to raise some fry eventually (it was actually how I got my two bangaiis, a friend's bangaii spawned and they raised them up and now I have their tank raised babies lol. But to do this, I need to know how. Any one know of good sites/guides that talk about different methods/setups/how-to?

Thanks

hmm, I looked in the breeding forum and there were not many posts at all. Is there a post about breeding bangaii that has been moved to the archives or anything?
