aiptasia

do Aiptasia only come out at night and are sensitive to light? i recently put in some new live rock and see what looks like aiptasia. they are small sweaping tentacles with white tips.

they are always out. not very sensitive to light.

sometimes they hide out in holse with just their tenticals exposed. i use a seringe and lime juice. put about 10ml into each aptasia u see and it cleared em out for me. I also put some pepermint shrimp in there.

Probably not aiptasia if they only come out at night. There are a number of possibilities. Can you get a picture up for us to see?

what are some suggested ways to get pictures. they are only out when its dark and camera wont work with the flash thru the glass.
