I have a strange lighting problem, i need to cover a 72x36 inch tank. What i own and would like to use is some 600w electronic ballast setups. Already bought the gear on CL, and i am willing to settle with 10k bulbs, but would like to check here first if anyone knows of 14-15k bulbs on the market. My guess is no, at least thats what google tells me.

here is the bulb:

Hmmm.... I didn't know that they made 600w MH. I thought it was 75, 150, 175, 250, 400, ad 1000.

"odd" wattage bulbs/ballasts are probably from the industrial lighting world. The aquarium trade adopted the above wattages for some reason and manufacturers have catered their production to that. I'm not sure if there are any 10K, 600w bulbs out there, but I'd start looking at warehouse supply places instead of fish stores. I think you'd have better luck there.
