How do I go about prepping these Rubbermade/Sterilite Totes to house fish temporarily? Rinse w/ hot water? Soap? Getting ready for a move and just need some advice.

NO soap. Maybe a little vinegar, but no soap. Rinse with lots and lots of water. Take the garden hose to it.
