Beginning to set up my new tank. I'm on the bottom floor of my condo. Concrete floor with laminate over the top. What would you guys put between the stand and the floor? Steel stand so bottom is open. I'm thinking of a rubber mat and maybe something softer underneath to help absorb some vibration. Ideas?
tank is the 32" cube discotu was selling Everything is gonna sit under stand when I'm done setting it up.

You could use a thin foam insulation sheet (like what's used under tanks on stands) or use a couple of furniture glides as spacers (Teflon sliders).

I like the foam. The tank per se I don't see vibrating much, but the pumps and what not sitting on the floor. Hey Ken, how did the reef ceramics hold up long term?

There still in the tank! They were never set in sand (bare bottom) so I never had the problem of sand cementing around the base. They look just like rock now.
