48'' T5 HO Light Fixture 4x 54 watt T5 HO Light

2 - 54 watt T5 HO actinic (blue) bulbs included and
2- 54 T5 HO 10k bulbs included (216 watts)

Would these be enough to keep a BTA or Carpet? Would a Frogspawn prosper?

i would say yes, most softies & lps (frogspawn) would be fine, but if you want full growth & polyp extension MH's or LED'S (no experience with led's, only what i've read) are reccommended

Ive noticed since the LED craze has been catching on, the increase of used lighting systems being posted fs. If you can wait a little longer Id bet you'll be able to name your own price.

LED is really catching on. I was about to purchase some DIY LED lights and then i thought to myself---where would I mount them? hahah. I was totally trying to get the chicken before the egg.

Depending on the quality of the reflectors, ballasts and bulbs the T5 will be enough light but the carpet would need to be a haddoni. The T5s probably would not be enough for a gigantea. Something like an ATI or Tek fixture or a solid retrofit kit would be an example of good quality. A low end single reflector fixture more than likely isn't gonna cut it for the carpet.
