Rim came off tank, can I simply reattach it?

I have a standard 20g that I plan to use as a sump. I noticed that the bottom rim is loose and it actually just pulled right off. The tank held water last time I used it and the silicone looks good under the rim. I'm assuming that simply running a new silicone bead around it and reattaching it would in inconcequencial...is that correct?

make sure to sit it on the rim after you silicone it and there is no need to use a lot.
