To start my params are:

ammonia-0
nitrates-0
salinity-1.026
ph-8.0
temp-80-82

I have a peppermint shrimp, fire shrimp, and yellow watchman goby+pistol shrimp(maybe I haven't seen him because of how tiny he is). I also have a few zoas and a duncan. Everything seems to be doing great, eating well, not stressed, etc. The cleaner shrimp was fine yesterday and I come home today to no shrimp in the tank. I have no idea what happened any thoughts would be a great help.

I have had shrimp fight in the past but if you found/find a molt it is probably hiding as it is more vulnerable. Although if these are in the 8 gallon it shouldn't be that hard to find. My guess would be the fire shrimp won the fight.

Really they'd fight? I've never seen this happen before with cleaner shrimp, but I guess it's possible and yes it's in an 8g

My guess is the fire shrimp knocked it off.

Even if the fire shrimp did kill the cleaner shrimp, just like a molt I would think there would be some remnants laying around. If you haven't seen that, my guess is that it's just hiding. Eight gallons is a little tight for all three of those shrimp IMO.

I've had shrimp have a tough time molting and they get taken out, but I agree u should find something in an 8g, and three shrimp makes it pretty crowded

they will hide after a molt, but unless it was consumed you should see something.
