Hi guys quick question about lighting a 10g reef tank, How sufficient would 2 cfl bulbs and 1 actinic bulb would be for softies like shrooms? The bulbs are rated at 6500k.

I'm answering some of my own questions, I found 2 23 watt 6500k equals out to 4.6 wpg for my mini reef.

It would be fine for softies, you did answer your own question, but try and forget about wpg, it really isn't a good way to judge lighting for a marine tank.

Ahh..okay. I just bought two 50/50 cfl bulbs rated at 20 watts each, It should be enough right? What kind of coral's do you think I can keep?

Stick with mushrooms and Green Star Polyps, they are able to adapt to your tank.
