Is it safe to add brs dry rock to an established tank after rinsing to get the dust off?

I am in the process of curing about 75 lbs of BRS dry rock in a tub with old tank water, a pump, and a heater to get a bacterial population. I'm tossing in a pinch of Cyclopz every couple of days. I plan on doing this for about 3 weeks to get a decent colony established on the rock. Then i'm going to swap out my old rock that I believe is leeching phosphate and nitrate.

No, it is not a good idea. Cure it outside of the tank.

if i add it to my tank now with out curing it will it be a problem? my goal is to make more room for coral and also make the rockwork more stable

Only the pukani is dried from the ocean, I believe, and should be cured. The rest are dry rocks that were mined. The mined ones should be fine to add right away as they don't have anything decaying on em to ruin your tank.

I added some of their Eco Rocks (the mined ones) to my tank, and didn't notice any negative effect. But it was only about 20% more rock at a time.

Their Fiji also is from the ocean. I got some today and there is shells and dried coraline.

What about doing a acid bath?

I would acid bath it and cure it..

Got so much gunk from it even after the acid bath. I do not recommend putting BRS rocks into display unless you want to risk an ammonia spike/recycle or hair algae birth. Even the marco rocks are not safe in my opinion.
