I live in Mainland China and bought all the materials here to build my led light. I started with 36 so called cree 3w royal blue and 36 so called cree 3w cool white LED's. They are mounted on two 6 foot heat sinks. The tank is 72x 19x 20. I am using 70 degree lenses on 3/4 of the tank and the last quarter no lenses, because high rock work. The light fixture is mounted 5 inches above the water. Both the c w and r b leds are powered at 700ma . The total spread of the lights over the tank is 5 feet x 8 inches. I have been running this tank for almost a year now and two weeks ago I felt I did not have enough light so I added 12 more cw and 12 rb. No lenses. Total led count 96. Not having a par meter my concern is if I have enough light for sps corals.
