i have noticed a few bugs that are half red and the other half is grey or tan like a copepod it is the same size as a copepod. also a bug like a copepod that has a butt with like two horns like an earwig any ideas what these are?

any ideas? no one has them, they hate light kinda like copepods but more so. and the scurry fast when the light shines on them at night

There are so many little copepod type creatures that fit your description. All anyone can do without a good picture is guess.

never seen a bi colored copepode in 30 years

i havent had time to figure out how to post pics on here i hear of red bugs that are pests of corals i just hope these arent them. they are half red and half off white or grey for sure

just researched a little bit and a possibility they are pregnant copepods but from the pics i found the ones in my tank have a more pronounced red color
