i cant get a good pic but it almost looks like a shrimp you know how the tail-end curls but i really dont know

Amphipod - beneficial algae, scavenger and detritus eating animal. You can add animals to your tank that will wipe out their populations or let them flourish and act as a clean up crew.

they hide in the light so if they want to chill in my tank they are good for now

My post must have been ambiguous. They are doing you a favor by being there. If you keep them you are doing yourself a favor. They contribute to the maturity of your tank.

My manderin is a pod hunter. Eats all day long, and i still see thousands of these pods every night.

A 125 with a decent amount of rock should easily support a mandarin. Mandarins are mostly going after copepods, not amphipods. If you get one too early, even a mandarin can wipe out the copepods, I'm not suggesting mandarins are bad for the tank, as pods are maintained in numbers big enough that there is a continuous supply. Other more aggressive eaters like some wrasses will wipe out these beneficial animals.

angel*fish thanks i knew what you meant by me saying they r good for now is that im not going to get a fish to wipe them out
deepseabeauti manderin are cool but i only have a 20 gallon tank so i wouldnt have enuff room for him
