I did hyposalinity on 11 fish with good results. I will do hyposalinty of 1.009 for 4 weeks on any new fish prophylacticaly. Any coral that come on a big piece of rock I leave in a fishless QT for 6 weeks as well. If it's a frag on a disc, I just do a CoralRx dip.
Before you go on this journey, make sure your DT is disease free first.

I too take the prophylactic approach and treat every fish for 3-4 weeks using Paracure (Red Sea's ionic copper) and Prazi-Pro.

great article that one on "cloroquine phosphate use" in QT fishes. Thanks.
Anyone has tried that with success? indeed it seem to have some advantages when compared with copper (doesnt kill sand bacteria and crustaceous). But what about efficacy and safety ? Can anyone share experiences with this drug in QT fishes.
