I have a 16 gallon Bow front Saltwater Reef Tank that has a stowaway Sea Slug and I am trying to get it identifyed. I am attaching pictures of it. Please excuse the blurry photos. I took them with my cellphone and then enlarged them a bit so you could see it a little better. This slug is about 1 1/2 inches long max. It has a pearlized fragile shell that doesn't cover it's entire body. The body is a creamy color with thin brown stripes and tiny spots. It has "feelers" that you can see in one of the pictures and has a suction type mouth at the front of it's body (not on the bottom if the body ). It has tiny blackish eyes about the size of a pin head. When startled it releases a purplish cloud of Ink? that disappears quickly and doesn't cloud the water at all. It releases this cloud a few times then stops.. not one large cloud. I have had it in my tank for a few months now and it doesn't appear to do any damage or harm any of the other fish. It is housed with a Saebae Anenome, Clarkii Clown, Scooter blenny, candy cane pistol shrimp, 2 peppermint shrimp and a yellow watchman goby.
Any help identifying this little critter would be appreciated so that I can take care of it properly.
Thank you
