Hey Guys,

I currently have the LiterMeter III that doses my Ca and Alk (I manually dose my Mag), but I'm looking to use this pump set-up to do a type of "automatic water-change" (to be discussed on another future thread).

Anyways, I'm thinking of getting another set of dosing pumps (was looking at Bubble Magus) and was wondering if anyone suggests one over another?

I've loved my LiterMeter, but I also like the fact that the Bubble Magus has all three pumps in one housing, and also notice a lot of reefers out there use Bubble Magus.

Any thoughts/opinions?

Thanks,

Chad

GHL is excellent.

Thanks snorvich (for both responses). I'll look into GHL/Profilux. Looks really nice though. Any reason why this is preferred over others?

Thanks,

Chad

I like that each pump is controllable (and has easy to program control). I also like that you can get 1,2,3 or 4 pumps at your discretion. GHL has an excellent reputation. In my case, I also use their Profilux controller but their dosers can be used with or independently of the Profilux.

I think if you're going to go with a GHL/Profilux then go with a Marine Magic...same Chinese goodness in a lower priced package.

Interesting suggestion... I'll have to look into that.

+1....I just ordered a 3 pump doser last week and anxiously waiting for it to arrive. My friend turned me on to them as he has been using one for about 5-6 months now and it works flawlessly. It was very inexpensive and replacement parts are cheap too. Apparently the pumps they use are exactly the same as the more expensive Bubble Magnus.

Here is a thread about it on RC. Seems alot of reefers are jumping on it. http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1938900

Interesting... and no one has had any issues with quality/reliability on these?
