Hello all I'm having my buddy come by with his laptop to test if my tank is tempered. And wondering if most camera's have polarized lenses. I see these videos of testing tanks and didn't know if it was a special lens attachment.

Most cameras do not have polarized lenses. You can generally buy polarizing filters for SLR types of cameras.

Not one of the slr or dslr lenses I've used ever came with a polarizing filter attached

No, you have to buy the polarized filter separate. You are better off getting one of those cheap polarized sunglasses, or even those cheaper polarized clip-ons.

Yea I had planned on using polarized sunglasses but if my camera had a chance then thought I'd skip buying sunglasses.

Thank you everyone.

you need to buy a circular polarizer filter, but be sure and get a good one like a Hoya or B&W bad filters are bad filters u get what you pay for
