Greetings from Mount Pleasant, South Carolina!
A bit about me:
My name is Scott. I managed a LFS for aprx. 7 years ('97-04). I have been keeping saltwater fish for about 15 years now.
After managing the LFS, I took some time off from the hobby. Back in 2008, I decided to get back into the hobby. I started back out small with a 29 BioCube. The tank did well and basically the corals outgrew the tank.
Here is the last picture I took of my BioCube:

I found a great deal on craigslist a few weeks ago, so I took the plunge again.
I picked up an AGA 90 gallon with corner overflow.
Startup equipment:
(2) 250 Watt Aqua Medic HQI 20k Pendants
(2) 48" T5 Actinics
**Sealife Systems Wet/Dry Sump (no bio-media)
**Sealife Systems Protein Skimmer
**Mag Drive 700 sump pump
(3) assorted Koralia powerheads

** Plan to replace sump, skimmer, and pump in the next 2-3 months.
Open for suggestions on Skimmer and main pump.

Tank as of May 15 2011:
This was everything that was in my BioCube with the addition of some live rock.

After reading up on several tanks(especially that of Iwan Laesser), I have decided to start dosing with the following:
Two Little Fishes Part A+B
Korallen-Zucht Zeostart2
Korallen-Zucht Amino Acid
Korallen-Zucht Coral Vitalizer
Prodobio Reef Booster
Prodobio BioDigest
Prodobio Bioptim

I hope to keep this thread updated as often as possible. I am open for comments both good and bad.

Use caution with ULNS you walk a fine line between great looking corals and starving corals. Tank look good.

Well...it has been a while...but I figured I would post an update.
I had a bad coral die off....possibly from bad silicone in the DYI sump...possibly from messing around with it too much!
Things have balanced off...and seem to be recovering well.
I never went with the Korallen or Prodobio. I had been dosing with Seachem's Aquavitro products.
I have since stopped with the Aquavitro products.
I am currently (and successfully) dosing with Calcium A+B, Strontium, Magnessium, Lugol's Solution.

I have since added 2 MP10's and a JBJ auto top off.
Livestock includes:
Bluejaw Trigger
6 Green Chromis
Pygmy Angel
2 ocellaris
yellow watchman
1 peppermint shrimp w/ pistol shrimp
mated pair coral banded shrimp
