hi everyone, just wanted to ask if anyone could advise on a new protein skimmer for my 130 litre tank.

The tank has some soft corals, live rock and 2 clowns and a fuzzy dwarf lion.

I have been running a boyu skimmer for the last year and has been running for a year with the previous owner until I noticed the wire had cracked and my tank was running a small amount of voltage.

now in the market for another one but unsure of what to get, I have a budget of around £60.

Thanks, Dave

Welcome to RC. Check out the Reef Octopus skimmers... good skimmers for the money.

try an eshopps psk75, Bit out of your range, but very easy to put together, and very easy to tune

Eshopps PSK75, or if you want a HOB version an AquaC Remora would be good as well, they are relatively similarly priced. There is a HOB version of the PSK75 as well.
