I'm moving in a couple weeks to a bigger place so I am moving from my Reef Ready nano cube to a Reef Ready AGA 75g. The build is moderately high end but definitely not top of the line. I'll list everything I have for the build and whether it is new or used. I have built quite a few tanks, but it's always good to get another hobbyists view on things before you actually start putting things together. Please let me know if you think I'm missing anything or if you think any of the used equipment shouldn't be re-used.

75g Aqueon (AGA) RR Tank - New
Standard 75g Stand - Used
Eheim 1262 Return Pump - New

2x150w Jager Heaters - New
Nova Extreme Pro 6x54w T5HO Light (new bulbs) - Used
50lbs Pukani Rock - New

Are you going to use GAC in a reactor?

Seems like you've got it covered. Some plumbing. Magnet cleaner. Net.

I would use a Ranco controller (two way) for you temperature management. Since you don't have a chiller, I would also have fans.

Good point, forgot to mention that I have an RKL with SL1 (PH probe/temp probe/float switch) and 3 PC4s.

I will be using GFO in the TLF reactor for now, but I will consider going to bio pellets eventually.

Good call on the magfloat. The small one for my nanocube will not cut it. Plumbing I have, nets I have to many.

20 liter or long sump? I have a 35g long for my 75 and I wish I went bigger. Not sure what skimmer you have but they do take up a lot of room..
Good luck and be sure to make a build thread! :)

Looks like you have it covered. Maybe a lazy boy in front of the tank and a 12 pack of beer?! :)

It's a 20 long. 30long is the biggest tank I can fit in the stand. I'll probably end up going with the 30 long in the end. What are the dimensions on a 35g long? Where did you find it?

I use the float switch for my RKL for top off duties. I also like t5 over halides for heat reduction and color choices. I'll probably add some LEDs to add shimmer later on.

I used t5s when I started the hobby the growth and look of hailides to me are awsome and proven over and over. It was more of just a preference joke. People can always do there own thing its what makes this so much fun.

Found it on craigslist. If I am not mistaken I beleave it said the tank was a 92'. So it was very old but it held water without issue.
Little under 36'' long
12.5'' wide
17'' high
It gives alot of room but I could fit a 40g breeder perfectly in my stand

That is a standard 30g long. Exactly what I'm looking for right now.

Well I just looked it up and you are indeed correct.. Haha
If your max is the 30 long then I would get that

That's the plan. I don't think many places keep.that tank in stock though. I'll probably have to have petco order it and they are the ones waiting on my 75g right now.
