Looks like a keeper! I've got a few monsters like that, but they only come out at night for some reason.

i got one 12 to 16 inches somewhere in my 125 gallon and a second getting close, they don't hurt nothing i've watched them scavenge for left over food so i leave them alone.

Too late..... He is currently in a bucket hanging on the deck.... It was a bit warm today and without any water....... I was afraid he was going to start eating my fish!!

I don't blame you, my 40b became infested with them. I never pulled any quite that thick yet there were quite a few about 6 inches long that were brave and out in the day, which got me nervous to put my hand in the tank so i started hunting...

I had several (hundred) in my 225g. When I was lucky enough to see them I would grab them with tongs and toss them in the overflows to eat up the food that got in there. I had to in the 12 to 18 inch range.
