I have a 150 tall ( 30" ) and have placed my powerheads similar to how they are in my 55. Now that I am maturing in the hobby some I am thinking they need to be placed differently? I have plenty of turn over. I have 2 koralia's at opposite ends high and facing each other and a seio 1500 on the back middle facing the front glass. The tank will eventually become a mixed reef. Any input ( other than flaming....I feel like " wow- I could have had a v-8") will be truly appreciated!!!!

I have a 150 RR, 27" tall. I have 2 1050 K Evos pointing at the rocks, and 2 1400 K Evos pointing towards the front glass, plus the return pump via 4 loc-line outputs.

Okay....so this is not a drilled tank - can I or should I add more power heads? My turnover rate is about 25 but I'm thinking placement is more the issue? Palting thanks for your reply!!!

It depends on what you want to keep. If you like mostly SPS, then, yes, you will have to add more powerheads, aim for a total turnover of about 35X or more. I am thinking of getting a bigger return pump myslef. If you plan on mostly softies, you are fine. Anyhow, no rush to get more powerheads until you are ready.
