Hi all, thanks for letting me on the forum with ya. Ok first of all, I have been torn between fw and sw tanks. I have had a few fw tanks in the past but never a sw. What I really want to do is get a 55gt for now so I can "get my feet wet". The issue I am having is it seems like a sw tank requires a weird hose setup between the main tank and like 4 different hidden tanks and filters. I just am so confused.

The other thing I was hoping I could get help about is whether or not I should use reefs or rocks, or just go fake rocks aka fish only. Any thoughts or tips on this, especially for someone who has never had a sw tank... I am fresh meat, mold me to a great tank owner. :)
