Does anyone know if this skimmer is any good

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TMC-V2-SKIM-COMPACT-200-PROTEIN-SKIMMER-Lowest-price-/280536517657?pt=UK_Pet_Supplies_Fish&hash=item4151478c19#ht_722wt_905

its the only skimmer that seems to be in my price range at the moment

people keep saying reef octopus but I'm not sure were the best place to buy them is, its for a 100 litre tanks with fish, lr , and some soft coral

I only have a budget of max £80 so if anyone know's of any deals going let me know

kind regards Dave

is it for in-sump or HOB?

Are you married to a HOB? (not necessarily a bad thing, but it limits your options). I have not heard of the particular skimmer you posted (this isn't necessarily a bad thing either, but not the best of signs). Another option, if this skimmer turns out to be bad based on other's recommendations is to just save your cash for a while until you can buy a tried and true skimmer that has proven results.

+1 :)

I did do a search for Eshopps.. another great brand!
Here is what I found:

IMO when you pay for a skimmer you get what you pay for

+1 the eshopps are cheaper than other skimmers but work just as well imo. I get nice black skimmate every week. mine is in sump though.

I agree. Its strange, how a skimmer can preform very differently in different tanks. On this particular skimmer; I never buy anything like this until I check out their tech support. if they don't have good phone tech help, I don't buy their stuff.

If your budget is limited buy a known brand secondhand from the classifieds or from your local club, someone is always upgrading.
