How do you tell the difference between these two. I have a lot in my tank that resemble the pic attached (not my pic, one I found online), are they bristleworms?

That pic looks like a bristle worm. I thought that fireworms were completely red and bristleworms were different colors. But I could be wrong

I know the bearded fireworms you want to remove immediately because the eat soft corals and can really hurt your fish. Bristleworms are mostly scavengers and are a good part of a CUC

ok, thanks. I just wanted to be sure, I thought they were bristleworms but then someone told me bristleworms do not have any red on them.

ive heard they r good but if they find a mate they can get out of hand
